Thanks for this, and frankly, you put into words exactly what I had percolating in my mind but was not quite articulating. I have no doubt that MSisson has a certain need to at least slightly appease an element of his readership (and family members) as well as his own "liking" of some plants. However it's not as bad a preconditioned bias (or maybe it is) as DeVany and Cordain with their continued fat-phobia.

Anyway, please keep up the great work! You definitely have a new fan/reader here. I've made your Porkopalypse Now recipe frequently since discovering it. Fantastic!

Best regards from Toronto, Canada
Juan

PS: I will also add my voice to those who would like to be able to read your notes/links in the Nutrition section. I agree with you to not bother with comments, either. I hope you can get that enabled. Cheers.

Re: Do you need veggies to be healthy? Apparently, even a little bit of gluten can create inflammation. Thanks! Soo interesting. I believe there was a connection between these characters and the ruling class (illuminati, world financiers, social engineers)... And I mean specifically the grateful dead crowd. I wouldn't doubt that a select few know this is the diet appropriate for human beings yet keep us all oppressed and sick to make a buck. Plus with such a large population, we couldn't all eat an all meat diet! The earth would be wrecked. Sadly, I think owsley hit the nail on the head.

Re: Simple Ultra-Low-Carb Pizza Base/Pita Bread (Paleo/Keto/Atkins)

Hehe, I have to do my own experimentation then :)

Re: Simple Ultra-Low-Carb Pizza Base/Pita Bread (Paleo/Keto/Atkins)

Tried both - and I don't have a definitive answer yet. This thing doesn't just make my wee-wee twitch... it makes it jump. And... on the scale of greasy lip smacking... it goes beyond a full 4 smackky's. I'd eat this any time you wanted to prepare the thing... and I'd gladly help you do so. You use the grill... I've also seen it prepped in an oven. The only problem I see is that facet. Most these days have a temperature control which starts at 225-250, and the grill can be a bear to keep up with, insofar as keeping it even temp'd. Either way... this thing would be a total prep to a 'take advantage of old Richard as you lay in the hammock together type of evening'. Well done. And... Smackety, smack, smack smack.

Re: The Blurgher – Beef, Bacon, Cheese, and drool

On the scale of greasy lip smacking... it goes to a full 4 smack's in large part due to all the bacon.
